Devious Journal Entry

Survey taken from :linkbluecharizard:

First part - "culture"
1) Where do you live? Country, preferably a city too.
- USA, St. Louis

2) What are the people living in the city like?
- Mostly friendly, but as in any city kind of rushed.

3) What is their education and the overall culture feel like, how do you see it?
- Considering I live outside the actual city, most people here are really friendly, although somewhat obnoxious. They also keep assuming I'm Mexican, when I'm really half Phillipino.

4) Are you interested in culture? May it be music, concerts, theathre plays, cinema, etc?
- I love learning about different cultures, be it music, readings, movies, or anything.

4) Say, what do you like about art? Do you -always- put feelings in your art?
- I love art, if anything it's my passion. I rarely put my feelings in my art, however. I'm much more satisfied with the result if I'm having fun with the piece rather than drawing something because I'm feeling emo.

Second part - "personal life"
1) Are you happy with your life? Is there anything you wanna change REALLY BADLY? If so, what is it? [Yes, I am aware that these are actually three questions, answer them all.]
- My life is satisfactory. I just wish -all- my friends could be here too.

3) Is there a -real, existing- person in your life you hate really, really so much you would kill them if you knew you wouldn't get punished for it? If so, who is it?
- No.

4) Is there a -real, existing- person in your life you love so badly you would kill for them just to protect them? If so, who is it?
- Depends on the circumstances, but yes. Just about any of my friends, I'm very loyal to them. Say, if we were being robbed, I'd shoot the guy if I had to. If they were being bullied or anything like that, I'd beat the bully up, but I wouldn't kill them.

5) Name five most important people in your life.
-1- :linkcowhideking:
-2- :linkmastershutogin:
-3- my dad
-4- my mom
-5- my brother

6) What comes to your mind when thinking about...
-1- love, perfection, future,
-2- ego, goals, future, talent
-3- friendship, music
-4- sacrifice, God, teaching, learning
-5- growing up, inspiration

7) Do you miss someone you were in contact with some time ago but you lost the contact? Who was it?
- Most people I've lost contact with are ones that I wasn't very close to, or knew for a very short time, so no, not really.

8) What is your ideal image of a romantic rendezvous with someone you love?
- A stroll through the snow, moonlight shows us our path..*sigh*

9) Do you wear clothes for comfort, to look good, to look sexy, or...?
- mostly comfort while still going for fashion. Sexy is a spontaneus thing, but I still go for comfort if I do try to dress sexy.

10) How do you choose your underwear?
- Whatever looks comfortable.

Third part - "dreams"
1) Is there a goal in your life you want to achieve? If so, what is it?
- Learn how to animate is a big one. Start comic, get a tattoo, stuff like that.

2) Why do you want this in particular? Is there a reason behind it?
- Animation can get across some things better than comics can. I've wanted to make my own comic since I started reading them years ago. Lastly, I like tattoos.

3) Is there a person (or people) you want to live with for the rest of your life?
- Yes, there is.

4) Is there a place you would like to live at/on/whatever? Why there?
- Canada. Or Alaska. We both love the cold.

5) What is your image of your own funeral?
- I want fireworks:cry:

6) What is your image of your gf/bf's funeral? (If you don't have one, your best friend's?)
- That's something I'd rather not think about..

7) Is there a dream you like to dream about but know it just won't happen? What is it?
- If I ever become a millionare, I'd want to be a space tourist(if not the full blown astronaut)

8) Is there something you partly want to happen, and partly don't? What is it?
- school.

9) What's the most important thing in your future life? Par example: love, money, relationship, children... etc?
- Love, and art.

10) Real-life or e-life?
- Both. Real-life is more fun, though imo.

Fourth part - "the survey"
1) Usual question - did you like/dislike this survey?
- I liked it. Pretty interesting, actually.

2) What exactly about it you liked/disliked?
- The questions were unusual and interesting.

Thanks for your wasted time, and attention.

What? Another Entry?

Fri Apr 6, 2007, 6:51 PM
Yeah...Surprise. I haven't updated this thing since Christmas, but hey, at least I'm not waiting nearly an entire year like I usually do. If you can't tell, I'm the type who's endlessly optimistic (within reason - even I have limits).

Artwise, I'm getting better; in fact, I've hit a muse lately, and my skill has (hopefully not) temporarily rocketed. No...a jet skimming along the edge of the atmosphere is a better description. Metaphors are important when trying to get your point across; Yes.

Sarcasm? Just a bit. After reading Tucker Max [link] and Maddox [link] proves that frequent reading and/or observation can have an effect on the subject: in this case, a pengant for bitter. I like it though, but I have been noticing I've been rather mean lately(PMS had no hand in this...this time). So I apologize if I've been rather rude to you lately, I didn't mean to be.

I have also managed to get my draenei shaman named Bludgeonme up to 22 on Dalvengyr. Hurrah.

I'm tired, and hungry. I'm actually considering going to bed right now. (Read: I usually go to bed around 12am, and usually fall asleep around 12:30 to 1am. On school nights. I get up at 6:30am. But don't worry, I tend to sleep 10 hours a night on the weekends; which is kind of dissapointing, considering I like to wake up before 10am.)

That's all I've got.

P.S.
...I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU READ ALL THAT. Seriously, some of the shit I write is so boring even I can't stand it. And that's saying something.

Sicky Sick sick Sickness Boooo

Apparently I won't make the goal I set up for myself at the beginning of the month, as I doubt I'll be able to make over 200 pageviews in 2 days. As for the point of the goal, it wasn't meant to be vain or trying to get famous or anything of the sort, it was just to see if I could. I do enjoy comments, constructive or not=). All in all, I got about 200 or so pageviews over the month(I started out with around 600) without doing much, so I'm satisfied enough to call this a success=)

I haven't updated much due to finals, holidays, and currently, catching a nasty cold(which now my whole family has>.o..I was the last one to get it). Went to the docter yesterday with my brother and he tested positive for strep throat. I probably don't have it as bad since I've had strep 5 or 6 times before. The first time's the worst, but it becomes less and less effective each time you become infected to the point where they say "You have strep." you say "o rly?" I don't recall my brother ever having this particular disease before, contagious as it may be, so this is probably his first time. What I don't understand is why did -I- have to be the last one to get sick, but on top of that, on Christmas day? I don't mean to arrogant or anything, but this is has to be one of my worse Christmas presents ever=(.

A helpful word of advice to others with the flu this winter: Believe it or not, coffee soothes the throat better than any cough drop I've tried. Want to be able to sleep? Try decaf(and tell me how that goes, I haven't tried that myself as of yet). Don't like coffee/not able to get to any? Can't help you much there, but I'm sure you'll love sucking on syrupy tasting cough lasynges all day;)

If anyone else has suggestions on dealing with symptoms of the flu, if only to make things a little more bearable, I'd love to hear it=D

P.S. For all the comments and thanks I get for faving your pics, I apologise for not responding to all of them; it's not because I don't want to, I really do, but because I feel like saying more than "You're welcome!" or something like that^^;. So, if I don't respond back, just know that your picture was awesome enough to receive my love=D, so you're welcome^^

2 new entries, I rather like them. Turned 16 this week, too. Neat. Of course, when summer swings around I'll have to find a job. Damn. I also didn't get many presents, which doesn't bother me(honestly, nobody knew, so I couldn't be mad about it=P). Celebrated it yesterday by eating yummy chocolate cake and went to see Happy Feet. Definately one of the cutest/most awesome movies ever(it's full of dancing penguins - how can you NOT love that?! You can't, that's how. =P)

As for daily life; right now, I'm determined to get better at my art, and hopefully take classes on Adobe Photoshop(all I've learned is from tutorials - links below) and possibly animation. Which brings me to think, could I reach 1000 pageviews by the end of December? I'm already over halfway there. It's possible; I could make it if I updated more, possibly. Alright then, that my goal for the month! Sweet.

"Will she win?"

We shall see...
